Tindak Tutur Ekspresif dalam Serial Animasi Lorong Waktu Si Aa dan Pemanfaatannya sebagai Materi Ajar di SMP Kelas VII

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of expressive speech acts contained in the animated series Lorong Waktu Si Aa on the Rans Entertainment YouTube channel and explain their use in Indonesian language teaching materials in seventh grade junior high school. The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research data sources are the speech of the characters in the animated series Lorong Waktu Si Aa. Data collection techniques are carried out through the basic technique of free listening and conversational listening and note-taking, while data analysis is carried out through the steps of identification, classification, description, analysis, and interpretation of data. The results of the study show that there are six types of expressive speech acts found in this study, including expressive speech acts of apologizing totaling 18 data, congratulating totaling 4 data, giving praise totaling 22 data, expressing gratitude totaling 22 data, expressing anger totaling 6 data, and expressing sympathy or condolences totaling 4 data. So, the total form of expressive acts found is 76 speech data. The research findings also show that the animated series Lorong Waktu Si Aa is relevant to be used as an alternative Indonesian language teaching material in learning fantasy story texts in grade VII of junior high school because it contains moral and cultural values, as well as communicative language use.
